How to Measure





THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START MEASURING

  • Always use a good quality measuring tape,
  • Always measure 3 measurements (top, middle, and bottom) and identify which one is the smallest size out of 3 measurements.
  • don’t make any kind of measurement deductions, as we are going to make all necessary deductions during manufacturing so your blinds can fit perfectly,
  • Always measure from the Left to Right side of your door or window.
  • Always clearly indicate WIDTH and HEIGHT. It is very common to swap measurements if you are not careful, so always indicate the WIDTH measurement first, then the HEIGHT last (W x H).
  • Always measure all windows, even those windows that look the same width and height as the other window.
We will make your blinds according to the measurement which you will provide. If these sizes are wrong by chance then email us ASAP within 24hrs so we can do an amendment to your order. if your order has been processed then it will take a bit longer time to change the blinds. So, please take your time and make sure to double-check your measurements before ordering.

There are two Combinations of Rolls available. where you can order separate as a single roller blind Or as a Double Roller Blinds which come in block-out and light filter blinds:

  • FACE FIT ROLLER BLINDS: This is where all blinds have been front rolled/back rolled
  • RECESS FIT ROLLED BLINDS: This is where all blinds have been back rolled/front rolled
Most Important Part: When it comes to finalizing which blinds to put at the front and which blinds to put at the back?

the rule of thumb: Sunscreen/Light Filter Blind goes at the back (closest to the glass) and Blockout Blind goes at the front.

HOW TO MEASURE RECESS FITTING FOR ROLLER/SCREEN BLINDS

WIDTH: Measure your window width in 3 different places: Top, Middle, and Bottom, always measuring from left to right side. Write down the smallest width that you have measured. For instance. If you got 3 sizes top 1345mm, Middle 1346mm, and Bottom 1347mm. You should select 1345mm as the final width for your order.

HEIGHT: Measure your height in the Middle from the top of the inside of the window to the base of the sill. Write down the height that you have recorded as this is the height you need to order. Remember, do not make any allowances, this will be done by our factory.

HOW TO MEASURE FACE FITTING FOR ROLLER/SCREEN BLINDS

WIDTH: Measure your window at the top of your window architrave, always measuring from the left side to the right side.

HEIGHT: Measure the height from the top of the architrave down to where you want your blind to finish.

HOW TO MEASURE WHERE THE WINDOW DOES NOT HAVE ARCHITRAVES:

WIDTH: Measure the opening width of your window and then add a minimum of 50mm on each side. This way the blind will go pass the window opening and you will get better light plus privacy control.

HEIGHT: Measure the opening height of your window and then add a minimum of 85-95mm to the drop. This way the blind will go pass the window opening and you will achieve better light plus privacy control.

Keep Remember, do not make any allowances, this will be done by our factory.
