Standard Pelmets
  • First measure the outside of the architrave from left to right.
  • Add 60–150mm each side of the window, depending on how much you would like the pelmet to go over the wall.
  • As easy as that!
Bonded Face Fit Pelmets
  • For Bonded Face Fit Pelmets, we recommend to allow 6mm extra to the width to clear architrave (Provide the inner box measurement IBM).
  • Make sure the face of the pelmet covers what you are looking to cover.
  • The top head of bonded pelmet is 16mm thick.
  • For the projection (Provide the inner box measurement IBM), make sure you allow for the depth of the architrave (if you would like pelmet to return back to the wall), the item you wish to cover and include function clearance.
  • Specify how many side returns you would like.
  • Note: The face thickness adds an additional 10mm projection to front of bonded pelmet, ensure you have adequate room to fit.
Bonded Recess Fit Pelmets
  • For Bonded Recess Fit Pelmets, we recommend you deduct 4mm from the width to allow an easier fit (Provide the outer box measurement OBM for the width only).
  • Face measurement, make sure the face of the pelmet covers what you are looking to cover.
  • The top head of bonded pelmet is 16mm thick.
  • With the projection (Provide the inner box measurement IBM), make sure you allow for the item you wish to cover including function clearance.
  • Returns are not always required on recess fit pelmets. If returns are chosen, inner box overall width will be reduced in size.
  • Note: The face thickness adds an additional 10mm projection to front of bonded pelmet, ensure you have adequate room to fit bonded pelmet inside recess.
