Before You Begin
A key step before you start measuring is whether you would like your blinds inside the window frames (known as recess fit) or outside (known as face fit).
Measure - Face Fit
MEASURING THE WIDTH
- Measure the exact outside width of the architrave in three different positions - the top, middle and bottom.
- Take the largest measurement.
MEASURING THE DROP
- Measure from the top of the architrave to where you would like the blind to finish in three different positions - the left, middle and right.
- Take the largest measurement.
- For windows that finish on the floor, we recommend finishing the blind 8mm above the floor.
Measure - Recess Fit
MEASURING THE DEPTH
- Before selecting recess fit, make sure you have the minimum depths for your blind type.
