How to Measure Sheer/blockout/velvet Curtain – Measurement Guide
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A key step before you start measuring is knowing whether your curtains will be face fix or ceiling fix.
A. MEASURING THE WIDTH
If you are measuring window to window, the exact outside width of architrave left to right frame end to end, then add 100MM each side to your final measurement. and give it to us. if wall to wall measured, then leave a 10 mm deduction from the width to avoid hard fitting to the wall.
B. MEASURING THE DROP
Measure under the cornice to the floor if wall fix(face fix) (left, middle, right).
Now take the smallest measurement exact touch to the floor and give us exact size. We will make a deduction suitable to fit the above floor.
We will make a deduction to make sure your curtain doesn't touch the floor and stay above 10-15mm from the ground.
